A Message from Jason Flood, Pipe Major
I'm extremely honored to serve as the Pipe Major for the Camden County Emerald Society Pipes and Drums. I am completely humbled by this honor and I will strive to carry on our proud tradition. We share a common goal to continually improve musically as well as carry out our traditions. Our ultimate goal is to provide a proper burial for those who have given the Supreme Sacrifice. We are blessed with guys who have joined this band for the right reasons and recognize this solemn duty. As we have come to say, we have guys who "get it".
Standing in the middle of the circle and earning my kilt was one of the proudest days of my life. The process of "earning" a kilt is the culmination of a solid year of hard work and perseverance. No one is given a kilt in this band; it must be earned! If it was easy, anyone could do it. When you earn your kilt with this band, you are not simply joining an organization. You are adopted into a family. I am proud to call each and every one of you my brother!
